Having been born in Vancouver and lived in four provinces, I have experienced the beauty and diversity of our great country. Each province is unique and different. From foliage in Eastern Canada to the seasonal changes on the prairies to the majestic Rockies and West Coast rain forests, inspiration is everywhere I look.
Who could not be moved by these wonders!
At the age of 23 I was given my grandfather's painting supplies. I have not stopped painting since. I have taken a variety of courses over many years and shared my love of art into decades of teaching children and adults.
Hiking, beach walks and various other excursions provide me with numerous scenes.
My subject matter is true to life but I adopt an Impressionist style.
I am always so pleased to do commissions and share in the joy of seeing my art in someone's home.
